The Rye Theatre is at the heart of the local

community, playing host to a number of

entertaining and varied performances.

Seating around 250 people, the venue has hosted

plays, concerts, BBC Radio recordings, dance

school shows and lectures, catering for a large

cross section of the community..

What’s On at the Rye Theatre

Our professional pantomime in December 2023 was a great success, with everyone enjoying the quality show, reasonable ticket price and easy free parking, so, as we are delighted to welcome back That’s Entertainment Productions with this year’s Christmas Show. We also have a mix of events centred around our historic 1925 Rye Wurlitzer, with our annual Rye Proms Night, Silent Film Night and concerts.
